At the request of City Manager Mark S. Watson and in accordance with Article II, Section 2, of the Charter of the City of Oak Ridge, notice is hereby given that a special meeting of the Oak Ridge City Council will convene on Monday, May 14, 2012 in the Courtroom of the Municipal Building immediately following the Special Meeting for the First Reading of the Appropriations Ordinance that commences at 7:00 p.m.

The purpose of the meeting is to consider a resolution authorizing the expenditure of $500,000.00 for the repair of Woodland Elementary School and directing the Finance Director to prepare the necessary amendments for Council’s consideration in the FY2013 budget.

In accordance with the Charter of the City of Oak Ridge, business transacted at this special meeting shall be limited to the subject recited in the notice of the meeting.
